When we decided to sell our home of 25 years in today’s market, we made a good decision in choosing Jake Luehrs as our selling agent.
Even though Jake was referred to us by a mutual friend, we did the prudent thing and interviewed with a few real estate agents. One of the things we liked about Jake was he didn’t try to woo us with elaborate marketing practices that would “guarantee” we would get more for our home. Instead he provided us with a realistic market analysis of homes that had recently sold in our area and current listing similar to our home.
During the entire process of listing, multiple showings, offers and purchase agreement, Jake was always available to answer our many questions. He never made us feel that our questions were trivial, even if they were. He responded promptly to all of our voice messages and emails. By being accessible, he let us know that he truly appreciated what we were going through.

I contacted Jake last fall from an ad I saw in the newspaper. I explained what I was looking for in a home and the very next day we looked at a number of houses—some were his listings and others were not. There was one home that I was particularly interested in and he happened to be the realtor representing both the buyer (me) and seller.
Jake was extremely honest and ethical. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sway me towards one house or another.
